As humans our minds are often a mess.
Fleeting thoughts, emotional flare ups, unprocessed feelings and memories, all conflict within the limited bounds of our skulls.
The modern internet has become a reflection of human cognition. It's hard to find answers and opinions you can trust among all the hype, hustle, and hatred. And with the age of AI generated content upon us, it will become increasingly difficult to determine who or what to seek answers from.
That's why I've created my Open Mind Project, a source of real human thought and information, to help you gain and refine skills to enrich your own work and life. To bring some order to the chaos.
What is it?
The Open Mind Project is more than just a collection of notes. It is my personal operating system I use to: capture my learning, organize my thoughts, synthesize ideas, and create new work.
In short, it's your window into the mind of a prolific creator who uses the tools of our time to make the world a little better through teaching others.
What you get
You'll get full access to my 'brain' without all the pesky distractions.
Specifically, my Open Mind includes:
My project workflows and updates
Key systems I use to manage and track my creative work, health, media consumption, learning resources, and more
A vast collection of heavily curated references to help you get more out of popular tech tools and unlock new basic skills (such as learning Japanese, how to write, or how to set up a computer) or more complex ones (like coding, AI prompt engineering and more)
Various archives of completed work and lessons learned to prevent you from making the same mistakes
And much more
There's a lot in here, and I'll be adding more as time goes on. I'm confident you'll find something here that inspires you to create or learn a new skill, or to create your own open mind.
Why I'm doing this
I've spent a large amount of time thinking about and researching current technology trends. From 2021 to 2022 it was web3 and cryptocurrency, in 2023 artificial intelligence is on everyone's minds.
No matter what technology takes center stage next, one thing is certain: the amount of information we will have to sift through in order to make important decisions will grow larger in the near future.
It is my strong opinion that information filtered through those who display continuous competence and skill will become much more important in the future.
These resources will allow us to filter and sort information faster so we can get what we need to live prosperous and fulfilling lives.
I'm offering such a resource to you now.
I invite you to step into the future of human connection by gaining access to my Open Mind Project.
(Don't delay, I'll be raising the price for admission as this idea catches on. Get in while it's cheap!)
Who am I?
My name is Keith Hayden. I'm an author, teacher, and tech enthusiast. I'm also a lifelong learner.
In the summer of 2020, after spending the majority of my life afraid of expressing my opinions, I decided to take advantage of the power of the internet to distribute my work. It was a scary leap, but one that was critical for my personal growth.
A year later, I published my first novel Cereus & Limnic.
Since then, I've channeled my creative instinct into composing music, writing code, graphic design, podcasting and much more.
I'm also a certified high school math teacher, who loves to share knowledge with others.
